A high-level Saudi delegation headed by the Vice President of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority inspects the Central Bank for pesticide residues
A high-level Saudi delegation headed by the Vice President of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Dr. Sami bin Saad Al-Sager visited the Central Laboratory for the Analysis of Residues of Pesticides and Heavy Metals (Q-CAP) within the framework of the official visit of the Saudi delegation to Egypt, representing the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, to discuss the movement of Egyptian agricultural exports to Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi delegation from Egypt to visit the laboratory was accompanied by Prof. Hussein Mansour – Head of the Food Safety Authority, Mr. Osama Pasha – Minister Plenipotentiary for Trade and Head of the Egyptian Commercial Representation Office in Jeddah, Prof. Ahmed Al-Attar – Head of the Central Department of Agricultural Quarantine.
They were received by Dr. Hind Abdulla, the director of the laboratory, accompanied the delegation to inspect the sections of the laboratory and see the developments that took place in the laboratory.
Abdullah announced that the laboratory participates in the food safety control system by analyzing contaminants in food using the latest equipment and the best experts in this field.
